I know a dude who had an RT/TT with two 16Gs, methanol injection, and water-to-air. A second gear pull in that thing was like being in the Millenium Falcon and entering hyperspace when you’re only 3 feet off a launchpad. It was one of only three cars I’ve been in that were actually faster than my semi-prepared human mind was able to process, and none of those cars were Hellcats, Mustangs, or LS-powered.

Here are the other two:

Turbocharged E24: the first real fast car I was ever in (pretty much self-explanatory).

Tesla Model S P90D in Ludicrous mode: Like an RS7, but replace the noise and the gearchanges and whatnot with more speed. A complete and utter disconnect that’s both fun and spooky at the same time.

The Stealth was special because you didn’t have time to think or breathe, and you only realize what happened when you’re eating pizza later that evening. And somehow, I can’t exactly say that about the R35, Hellcat, or even the RS7.

I saw one of those tonight. Sounded like it blew a piston or something. Sounded awful, smoke coming out as it limped home with hazard lights on.
